Safety limit switches with rope

The safety limit switches with rope and manual reset, represents the best solution to make available the emergency stop along all the production line perimeter. Available in various sizes, head orientation and contacts configuration. One switch is able to guarantee the safety of the perimeter for lenghts up to 25 meters, thanks also to accessories like stay bolts, rope clamps, fixing clamps, springs and rope eyes. The manual reset device makes the safety limit switches with rope by COMEPI, suitable for the emergency stop, according to the standards in force.

Built to withstand demanding environments, the SDM-Metal 50mm switch features high vibration (10-55 Hz) and shock resistance (malfunction: 100m/s2; destruction: 1,000m/s2). Its metal construction offers longevity, while the IP65 rating ensures the switch remains dust-tight and protected against water jets, making it ideal for both indoor and outdoor installations.


Flexible Installation and Operation

With a round plunger actuator and a 16mm panel cutout, this device allows for straightforward panel mounting. Its screw terminal design supports quick wiring, and options for SPDT or DPDT circuit types make it adaptable for various control systems. The switch operates efficiently in temperatures ranging from -25C to +55C, catering to diverse industrial settings.


Reliable Electrical and Environmental Specifications

This switch utilizes durable silver alloy contacts, supporting a maximum voltage and current of 250V AC/DC and 5A respectively. It features excellent insulation and dielectric strength (2,000V AC, 1 min; >100M at 500VDC). It functions effectively in humidity between 45-85% RH and exhibits a rapid response time of under 20ms, ensuring reliable performance in critical operations.
